2015 30th Annual Kids In Need Dragon Boat Festival
The Annual 30th Kids in Need Dragon Boat Festival will be held on Sunday 15th November 2015.

Our 30th Dragon Boat Festival is here. Come in Party Theme and make this a day to Celebrate !!!!!!!
The dragons are gathering again to raise funds for seriously ill children and children with disabilities.
We would love you to make up a team and participate in a great day of Dragon Boat Racing at Jack Evans Boat Harbour (behind Twin Towns – crn Wharf & Boundary Streets).
There are trophies for various categories, plenty of food & drink (no alcohol), shady trees and cool water.
This is a very enjoyable family day with every cent being donated back to KIN
Must be received by last mail, Monday 9th November 2015. Download and entry format the bottom of this page.
Can be set up on Saturday 14th November as KIN provides security overnight. Please do not erect a tent or marquee without prior approval. If erected in an official area it will be dismantled, please refer to site map.
Programs will be available at registration table.

A BBQ breakfast, lunch and coffee, at a reasonable cost will be supplied by South Tweed Rotary Club. Corporate Groups can arrange team meal tickets. All profits from the day are donated to KIN. Toilets can be found on the Twin Towns side of the harbour.
Must be QDBF accredited or provisional. The Event Co-ordinators will help to provide sweeps if required.
All paddlers must be able to swim 50 metres unassisted or wear a life vest. All paddlers under 12 years of age are required to wear a life vest regardless of swimming ability, life vests provided by Event Co-ordinators.
St John’s Ambulance Service will be in attendance for the entirety of the event, please see site map for their location.
The race Starter will announce “Attention”, they will then ensure all boats are correctly aligned, they will call “Paddles up” and a starter gun will be fired to commence race. Race 1. To marshalling area at 8.00am(DST).
Must be lodged with the Event Co-ordinator within 10 mins of official results being posted. All protests must be accompanied by a ‘Protest Donation’.
All clubs are requested to clean up their area at the end of the day and dispose of rubbish in bins provided
