2016 KIN Dragon Boat Festival Sponsors Wanted
The Kids In Need Association is holding their annual KIN Dragon Boat Race Day at Jack Evans Boatharbour on Sunday the 20th November, 2016. The day is well supported by local businesses, South Tweed Rotary, the local community and attracts some 1500-2000 people. This is our 31st KIN Dragon Boat Festival. What a great achievement, because it has been so supported by the Community.
This is KIN’s largest fundraiser of the year and all monies raised stay within our own community to support children with disabilities and chronic illness.
Kids In Need is a local charity run by a small group of volunteers that began 33 years ago and has been a very successful and much needed organisation in our local community. KIN raise funds for local children who are seriously ill or have a disability. Requests are made to KIN by supporting letters from specialists, medical practitioners and specialised professionals for such items as: Rehabilitation equipment, orthotics, ongoing medical costs for specialised treatment, therapeutic and medical equipment to enhance the quality of the child’s life.
Kids In Need are seeking Prizes or Gift Vouchers to be used for the raffle that will drawn on the 20th November, 2016 and we would like to be able to give your continued generosity as much publicity as possible and also put on our raffle tickets, which will be starting to sell soon, so please let me know your response soon
If you could assist us with a donation, we would be very grateful and your donation will be publicised on the day, in our newsletter and on our new webpage: www.kidsinneedassociation.com.au KIN guarantees that 100% of the money donated will be used on the continual support of the children and has gained a reputation for reliability, generosity and a prompt response with a minimum of fuss that is greatly valued by families and service providers throughout the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region.
Kids In Need appreciates all the support we have received from the community over the past 33yrs and because of this community support KIN has been able to support many children with disabilities and serious illness in our community.
