Lindsey Nolan was born and raised on Australia’s Gold Coast. The 19 year old’s inspiration for music stemmed from her Mother’s love for music.
Allowing her to grow into and eclectic music palette, listening to artists such as. Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel.Peter Gabriel and Crowded House to name but a few.
These artists along with many others have been instrumental in guiding her towards her desire to make her own distinctive style described best as having an eclectic array of smooth and easy listening sounds, flowing between genres of indie rock pop, with folk, rhythm and soul undertones.
She wrote her first single ‘Don’t Play With Guns’ in 2004,which with the help of her schools Music Director Charlotte Lush and Sydney Producer Roger Lock she was able to record the track along with a second title‘Home’. She would later have the opportunity to publish both tracks on iTunes in a collaborative album ‘All At Sea’ in 2016. This is when Lindsey first partnered with ‘Kids In Need Association’
